Maryam Adam is a freelance, multidisciplinary Artist based in London.  Besides expressing herself through design, she is a painter, illustrator and graphic designer. She often creates work that takes a visually surreal style yet is grounded in reality and dreaming of a better future.
She has a BA in Graphic Communication Design from Central Saint Martins and is most interested in heritage, social politics, community building, and bridging the gap between the ‘unconscious and the conscious’.
She draws inspiration from the subconscious narrative she feels around her and the people closest to her. She won the Jo Brocklehurst Prize of 2021 for her use of subversion and storytelling in her work. She welcomes Art and design commissions.
